Our heritage lies in the strength and nobility of our Women. Indian Woman has risen to greater heights than any of the world inspite of her being dubbed as "Docile Slave of man".

Our hero, Rajesh is the only son of Kunwarsab a descendant of a titled family, proud of past accomplishments. Savita, our heroine is the daughter of a poor schoolmaster Ramdas, a family friend of Kunwarsab, and also in the service of Kunwarsab.

Rajesh, the careful spoilt boy meets his match in Savita who stress him to the right track and makes him a man and a graduate. The natural conclusion to marry Savita is opposed by Kunwarsab on grounds of inequality - but Rajesh marries her against the wishes of Kunwarsab, and is thrown out of the house.

Jeevan, son of Asharam, a crossword puzzle addict, and the manager of a posh hotel, help Rajesh to get a house. Asharam desires his daughter Sarla to marry Rajesh but fate throws her into the arms of Banke, a cook in Kunwarsab's house. Infuriated Jeevan seeks to take revenge against Rajesh.

Jeevan plays with the lives of Rajesh and Savita and creates mistrust between them. The result, Savita is at her parent’s place and Rajesh in search of escapist entertainment in drinks. A wrong move in the case of Neeta the cabaret dancer upsets Jeevan's plan and the enlightened Rajesh batters Jeevan and has a happy reunion with his wife and child. The repentant father receives the son, daughter-in-law, and grandson with open arms.
